This course examines the historical development of civil rights in the United States, starting with the Founding Fathers and continuing through significant events such as the Civil War, Reconstruction, the New Deal, and the Civil Rights and Fair Housing Movement. Participants will hear firsthand accounts from NAR member Realtors who lived through and after the enactment of the Civil Rights and Fair Housing Act. By exploring our civil rights history, this class will provide valuable insights and lessons learned over time.
